​Jodie was born in South Africa, is married to a Brit, has lived in England, Scotland and New Zealand, and is now based in Melbourne, Australia. Her accent (and general identity) is confused to say the least!

Jodie’s aim when creating art is to evoke memories of play and joy from a time when every facet of the world held curiosity. She likes to work in different styles because she struggles to focus on anything for too long, however there's always a connection of colour and energy.

Jodie works in multiple mediums and often mixes them to create another depth that she hopes shines through. Her general mediums of choice are acrylic or watercolour but she does love a coloured pencil piece.
